House Projects...Too Many to Name!

You know what is fun about being a homeowner? This is a serious question... the projects! Home projects are something that Brad and I both love...a lot!

Since we moved into our new house in November of last year, we have been working on one project at a time. We went from 2 separate households, to getting engaged, then married and starting our own new home! Part of the fun about that is, we get to start over and make everything just ours. New house, new furniture, new stuff...all of it is our memories together. Love! We had to put our projects on a hold for a little while, plus we traveled almost every weekend this summer. Now that Fall is here, we are back at it and rarin' to go! (This is also why the hubs needed all those tools and his truck! #obviously)

Along with all of my DIY's for the house, we have tons to build, create, decorate, and make our home "our home." This fall and winter we are working on:

• Brad building me shoe shelves in our closet! (yes, I have that many and it will never change.) I am getting 8 shoe shelves!
• Putting up our Gallery Wall! We have all the frames and the pictures, now we just have to hang them!
• The hubs is building our "mud room" in the house at the entrance to the garage and near the front door.
• This weekend we will be painting the guest bedroom (with the paint that has been sitting in there since March when??)
• Brad is building the washer and dryer a platform to raise them up and provide more storage underneath.
• Painting the guest bathroom. It is already decorated, but I've decided it needs some paint on the walls.
• Finishing our BASEMENT!! This will take a while (clearly), but we know what we want down there (a spare bedroom, a living room, and a home gym room). We have friends that will be helping Brad with this. We have good friends!
• I am working on redecorating the living room and finding a new entertainment center, coffee table and side tables, and a few new colors and decorations. 
• I am almost done decorating our bedroom. I have a few more things to do like a DIY, hanging pictures and our monogram, etc.

Aren't our plans grand?!? And that is just the beginning of them. When Spring comes, we will have even more to do! Especially outside. We will be busy busy homemakers this fall and winter and I can't wait for every second of it!! Here's a few inspirational photos of what we are planning on doing.
