Brad's parents...Brad and I had headed down to the Quad Cities to
spend the day with the fam. We got there before the rest of the
siblings did, and we had a little surprise for the rents! Brad and I sat
down by the pool with his parents, talked for a while, and then told
them that we had a little something for them. We told them that we had
found something that we thought that they would like and handed them the
gift bag. Momma B opened the bag and pulled out a little Iowa State
onsie!! Momma B teared up and Dad said, "Really?" We were grinning ear
to ear and hugs went all around! I love telling people :) Plus, we were
happy to have all the extra prayers from both of our parents!

| Brad's parents...we should have taken a picture the day of! (Oh well...this was taken in Feb.) |
Brad's Family...We invited all of Brad's family up to "see our
new house" and for a Fall visit since Brad and I would be gone for
Thanksgiving. We wanted to tell everyone at the same time, but
unfortunately a few people were out of town the day we invited everyone
over. We decided to grill, show everyone our house, and spill our
secret! Everyone drove up, brought some food, and once everyone was
finally there...we let the dogs out!
Belle and Abe both had shirts on. Belle's shirt said, "I'm going to be a big sister!" and Abe's shirt said, "I'm going to be a big brother!" The dogs were a little hyper, but everyone *eventually* figured out what we were trying to tell them! I guessed that Sister Beth would be the first to get it...and she did! She came over to me and said, "Are you trying to tell us something...?" I said, "Yep!" and then the "Congratulations!" and hugs started. Makes my heart happy! I got a few pictures, but Karen and Matt did the best job of taking pictures (obviously)! Thanks Sister and Brother!! and thank you Bishop Family for making it up to our house!
