First and Last

What a difference a school year makes! Dayton's first and last day at Miss Karyn's daycare. It's been a crazy year, but we made it! Happy summer!

August 2014 - 4 months old
May 2015 - 13.5 months old

Dayton's BFF

At daycare, Dayton has a best friend. Her name is Baylea and she is three years old. These two kiddos. They crack me up!! Our daycare provider, Miss Karyn sent me some pictures of the two friends. She tells me that they play together all day! Adorable. They even start giggling as soon as they see each other. In the mornings, when I drop Dayton off he looks to find Baylea. As soon as he does, he starts smiling and giggling. It is so cute! When Dayton was out sick all week, Baylea told Miss Karyn that she missed him so much and that "Dayton is my best friend." *awwwww*

Miss Karyn said she was happy to catch them playing together "in the light." Most of time, they are playing hide and seek under the table! So cute!!

Baby Dayton at Daycare

Every now and then, Dayton's daycare provider will send me pictures during the day. I love it when she does this because I miss my little man so much throughout the day, so it's nice to see his little face! At daycare, everyone calls him baby Dayton. He is the 2nd youngest at daycare. Miss Karyn has 8 kiddos at her in-home daycare. They are all sweet kids and Dayton loves playing with them all! He especially loves playing with Baylea (who is three). They have a special relationship and make each other giggle just looking at each other. It's pretty cute. Daycare

Dayton Thomas...you are such a little social bug. I'm glad that you were able to spend 3 previous, random days with Miss Karyn before you started full time at daycare. You love her! and all of the kiddos at your daycare. I'm pretty sure they love you too! especially since they all say/yell, "Baby Dayton!" every day that we walk in. It's too cute. As much as I hate leaving you, I do love watching your huge smiles in the morning when I hand you to Miss Karyn. I know she loves you and I know you are being taken care of well! So far, so good. I wanted to "document" your first day at daycare, so here it is! You and Miss Karyn.

Miss Karyn has been in the daycare business for 8 years. She used to work in a health care office, but she decided she loved kiddos and babies more and she missed them! so she started her own daycare. Karyn and her husband have 4 daughters. One is married, 2 in college, and 1 in high school. They are all very sweet, beautiful girls. Karyn's family goes to a local church that Brad and I had attended for a bit while visiting and she believes in raising her daycare kids to love Jesus - which we love! Miss Karyn has 8 total kids at her daycare. 4 of them are part time. So far, we love Miss Karyn! She is so full of energy, raises these babies right, and is just what we were looking for! We are so thankful we found her!!
