I'm the author of this little blog, wife to Brad, Momma to two boys, fur-mom, and most important of all ~ a follower of Christ.

*A Brief History of Me*
I was born in a small town in Colorado.
My family moved to South Carolina when I was very young.
I grew up a Southern Girl and became a Southern Lady.
I played every sport possible in high school.
I played on volleyball, basketball, soccer, softball, and water polo teams in college.
I graduated from college in 2008 with a BA in Early Childhood Education.
I am graduating this summer (finally),
with a Master's in ESL (English as a Second Language).
I have taught 1 year of Kindergarten, 1 year of Reading Intervention, 2 years of First grade,
1 year of ESL, and have now landed in 2nd grade!
I love teaching. It is a big piece of my heart.

He was born in a small town in Iowa.
He grew up in Fairfield, Iowa (the same small town).
Brad played football, basketball, and softball in high school.
Brad was a stud in high school. He was a quarterback.
Brad attended Iowa State University and graduated in 2007 with a BA in Industrial Engineering.
Brad was hired and started working at Caterpillar (CAT).
He moved to Peoria, IL, Atlanta, GA, and Greenville, SC.
Brad "made the move" and now works for John Deere.
He is a Manufacturing Engineer Supervisor.

*Our Story ~ the Short Version*
We met on 10.5.2010 at the gym.
We went on our first date on 10.10.2010. It was the best first date of both of our lives ~ Brad took me to Tsunami, what became "our sushi place," and then to a wine bar in downtown Greenville called Stellar.
He told me he loved me in 4.2011.
The love of my life got down on one knee, told me I was his world, said that he couldn't live without me, and asked me to spend the rest of my life with him on 12.10.2011.
Our 2 lives became 1 on 8.18.2012.
We moved from Greenville, South Carolina to a small town in Iowa in 8.2012.
Our sweet baby boy, Dayton Thomas, was born April 8, 2014. He is the light of our lives.
Our second baby boy, Colton James, was born July 18, 2016. We are now a family of four!
It Starts with Two...we're the Bishops y'all.
