This weekend we went on a short road trip up to Rochester, Minnesota to visit my best friend, Mellisa and her husband Joe. Although our "road trip" was only 2 hours, we were pretty excited about getting out of town and visiting someone from "home." Dayton does great in the car, so we're pretty open to traveling!

We left after Dayton's 9 am feeding and arrived around 12 pm. After Dayton ate, we went to lunch at a delish restaurant, Cheddars, in downtown Rochester. Yuuum. Day slept through the whole thing. After we ate, we walked around downtown and then hung out at the house for a while before we left to come home. It was a quick trip, but it was just what this Momma needed. It was great to see my best friend and spend some time catching up.
