- no weight gain this week
- belly measured at 33 cm
- heartbeat was 132 bpm
- baby is still head down!
- Week 32
- Baby is the size of a : Napa cabbage
- Weight : 3.75 lb. / Length : 16.69 in.
- Baby weighs almost 4 pounds! Baby gets less and less space inside the womb, so his movements are more slow and less dramatic. He is moving quite a bit still, however. Baby boy can use all of his five senses now. He can look around, practice breathing, grabbing what is in reach, tasting amniotic fluid and listening to Mom and Dad's voices.
Gender: BOY!
Weight Gain: According to the scale at the Dr.'s office...no weight gain from week 30. Baby is definitely growing, but my weight gain has slowed down and actually decreased. No complaining!
How I Feel: Overall, I would say I still feel really good. Other than the 1st Trimester, this has been a great pregnancy! Obviously there are the normal aches and pains, but nothing that has kept me from my normal life/routines!
- Stretch marks: None.
- Belly button: Still in...but a little section has popped out.
- Other: Braxton Hicks contractions at night - still waking up with a sore tummy, I am hot all of the time it seems like now and night is the worst, ribs are sore from baby kicks and pushing, etc.
Cravings: None.
Food Aversions: None.
Movement: Little man is still moving quite a bit. He gets the hiccups pretty regularly and it still surprises me how "hard" they are?! I've watched my tummy jump a little when he's had the hiccups before. He still moves in the mornings (that's our time) and he's moving, rolling, pushing, and punching a lot at night after dinner time. That's when I feel him the most!
Sleep: So far, still sleeping well but I. am. so. hot! at night!!
Best Moment This Week: Feeling baby boy will always be my favorite.
Worst Moment This Week: Felling huge?!
Looking Forward to: Spring break. I need it!
What I Miss: My normal clothes. I was looking at my closet the other day and I just missed wearing all my "little" cute clothes. Not too far away though!
Pregnancy Thoughts this Week:
- I've started my long to-do list for my long term sub. I want everything ready by the end of Spring Break so that I can be prepared for anything. I don't know when baby will come, so I want to be ready to go any day. I'm a major planner and it kind of freaks me out to leave my class at all, but I know I will enjoy every minute of maternity leave. My poor sub might be overwhelmed with my excessive planning, but it's better to have more than less!
- Nursery, nursery, nursery. It's pretty much all I think about!
- Spring break will also be my food prep week for when baby gets here. The hubs bought us a deep freeze (a small one) so that I could make 6 weeks worth of lunches and freezer meals for us. I want to make healthy, clean eating meals so my goal is to cook 2-3 meals/pans a day over break!
Exercise: Still working out 6 days a week! Nothing has really changed about my workouts. I've only had to make a few changes in how I do my lifts. Still running!
What's Happening This Week: Now that I'm done with class, I feel like my schedule has calmed down a little bit. Monday was a homework night for the hubs, we had church group on Tuesday, Wednesday night the hubs at class, Thursday night was normal and pretty relaxing, and Friday night I made a new pasta recipe and we caught up on some TV shows. Not too much going on...just the normal day to day life!
