Week 15
- Baby is the size of a : pear
- Weight : 2.47 oz | length: 3.98 in
- Baby can now run his/her eyes, yawn and blink. Baby's hair line is forming and hair is starting to grow. Even the eyelashes and eyebrows are growing.Baby can hear sounds and might be hiccuping!
Weight Gain: 5 pounds total - after I lost weight ( 4 pounds) during week 14
How I Feel: I'm starting to feel better. I think. Some days I feel nauseous, but some days I feel okay. Maybe that means it'll clear up soon? I felt better by week 15 on the dot with my first, so I'm hoping this one is soon to follow!
- Stretch marks: none
- Belly button: in
- Other: As I said above, I lost about 4 pounds last week. I got the flu on Friday, but only felt sick for one day. I lost 2 pounds over the weekend and then continued to loose 2 more pounds! I called the midwives and they told me to come in so that they could check on a few things. Baby's heart beat was fine and I wasn't dehydrated, so they said I was okay! However, they wanted to me call again by Wednesday if I hadn't gained any weight back or if I lost more weight. By Wednesday, I had gained 0.5 pounds. Whew!
Cravings: cucumbers...like crazy. I want them every. single. day.
Food Aversions: salmon still. yuck.
Movement: I've felt a few "pings" every now and then! Love it!
Sleep: sleeping amazing...as always!
Best Moment This Week: hearing baby's heart beat
Worst Moment This Week: thinking something may be wrong with babe losing weight
Looking Forward to: our 16 week appointment
What I Miss: nothing. I love being pregnant and wouldn't change it for the world!
Diet: I'm still doing well with eating clean 80/20. I'm really watching my sugar intake, as I don't want to be eating sweets during the week. I do have some froyo on Sunday nights though to get my "fix" in.
Exercise: Still working out 4-5 work days in the morning. My alarm goes off at 4:20 am and I'm usually out of bed by 4:50. That's enough time to throw my clothes on and be at the gym around 5 am. I'm usually home by 6 and then it's off getting ready for the week. I'm still doing the short cut to shred workout program (slightly modified) and loving it!
What's Happening This Week: I feel like our work week is so busy. Monday I host girls night for the Bachelor, so I do a lot of appetizers and cleaning. Tuesday this week, I was at school until 6 pm completing my TSS hours with my team. Makes for a long day! Wednesday Brad has class and doesn't get home until around 10:30-11 pm. Poor guy. Thursday is our only low key night! Fridays are usually our "crash night." Spend time with Dayton, get him to bed, then we eat dinner and binge on TV. I like to sit and not move. This Saturday I am spending the day in Rochester with my oldest friend, Melissa. Can't wait!
