Family Road Trip!

Man, we have taken quite a few vacations this year! But with a new baby and lots of family to visit, it was a must and we were very happy to do so. We've been to Colorado, Connecticut, and New York. Now it was time to go home. Home to South Carolina!

Since we were driving, we wanted to break the trip up into 2 days, mostly for the baby's sake. We decided to stop in Gatlinburg, TN on the way down. I had never been and the hubs hadn't visited since he was a kid. It's a pretty touristy spot, so we thought it would be fun. We drove all day Saturday, spent the night near Gatlinburg, toured around the city, and then drove the rest of the trip Sunday afternoon to Greenville. The Smokey Mountains were beautiful. We stopped to get a few pictures and on the way out, we saw a group of elk! Brad was pretty excited about it. They were really close to the road, which was cool!

I love my little family. The hubs and I have so much fun and the babe did amazing in the car. He's a little trooper. We are blessed. Another road trip in the books!
