Dayton ~ 14 Weeks

Hey sweet baby boy. You're growing up to fast. Can we stop time now?

14 Weeks: This week the hubs was in Germany, so it was just me and the babe. We had a few play dates, had some friends over, and went to the pool! On Saturday, we hung out at the Pilcher's house with Baby Cal and Beth until it was time to pick up daddy from the airport. The hubs got to meet his new nephew and we snapped a few cousin pictures. We both were happy to see daddy. It was a long 9 days!

Activity: Little man amazes me by how much he changes each week. This week I've noticed that he is getting better at "standing up." So much so, that I decided it was time to get a jumper/saucer. Day is even holding onto my fingers and pulling himself up into a standing position. He's also getting better at lifting his head and arching his back during tummy time. This. kid. is. solid. Every time I pick him up, he just feels solid, almost muscular?! (just like his daddy)

I also decided that this week was a good week to break out the high chair. He loves it! He sits up and plays with the toys that I put in front of him. The first time I put him in it, he kept looking at the toys. The next day he was grabbing at the toys, holding onto them, and putting them in his mouth! Crazy boy.
