Bishop Weekend In Des Moines

A couple of weekends ago (whoops...a little late on this one) the hubs and I headed to Des Moines to spend the weekend with his parents. Des Moines has a little more to offer than our little Cedar Falls, so we were itchin' to get to a bigger city. It wasn't an extravagant weekend, but we all had a "shopping agenda" and had a list of places that we wanted to stop in!

Saturday we met in Des Moines and started our shopping at one of the malls. We ran around Des Moines most of the afternoon and then enjoyed a delicious dinner at the Cheesecake Factory ~ one of my favorite places!! It was so yummy and I was absolutely starving by the time we got there and actually sat down to eat. We were all This prego was pretty pooped Saturday night, so we headed to our hotel and got comfy for the night.

Sunday we headed back out and shopped till we dropped...ok maybe not dropped, but we were all ready to go by mid-afternoon. I think almost all of us found what we were looking for throughout the weekend and the hubs and I even got to peruse through some cribs! The prices were ridiculous, but it was fun to look!
