Pin That! ~ Yarn Wrapped Candy Corn

Saw it. Pinned it. Actually did it!

It's that time again! Saw it. Pinned it. Did it... Thursday with Steph @ BEAUtiful Mess and Katie @ Keep Calm and Carry on!I love this link up! What a great idea!! (mostly because so many of us are on Pinterest...every.day.)
I saw this craft and actually did it sometime last week, but LOVED it and thought I would share! Plus, it's very festive with the Halloween holidays and all, so here it is!

Yarn Wrapped Candy Corn Decor

I found this DIY project on Pinterest (duh), but the original source is The Thrifty Decor Chick !

Materials you will Need:
  •  foam "trees" (various sizes - I used 2 large and 2 small)
  • yarn: orange, yellow, and white
  • glue gun
  • scissors
How to:
  1. Start by wrapping the orange yarn around the bottom of the tree. I glued the first strand up against the bottom so that I would have a secure starting point. Then just wrap the orange yarn about 1/2 of the way up the tree.
  2. Cut several small white yarn pieces, glue, and lay them down across the top of the tree. Then wrap the white yarn about 1/3 of the way down the tree.
  3. Finish the candy corn by wrapping the yellow yarn!
This project was so easy and cute! Have fun and Happy Halloween!!
