Brad and I drove down to Fairfield (where Brad's grandparents live) for Thanksgiving day. We stayed in Iowa this year to get on the "married" schedule. Brad's cousin and her husband live in Kansas and we were trying to get on the same schedule so that we would be able to see them during the holidays!
Brad's cousin Trisha and her husband Justin hosted Thanksgiving (just like last year!). We had quite the gathering! ~ Grandma and Grandpa Rominger, Jerry and Teri (Brad's parents), Matt and Abby (Brad's brother and his daughter), Beth and Gene (Brad's sister and brother-in-law), Deb and Greg (Brad's aunt and uncle), Trisha and Justin (Brad's cousins) and their baby Kellen, and Sarah and Craig(Brad's cousins) and their baby Brantley. Whew!
We had Thanksgiving dinner around 1:00 pm. We ate lots of yummy food! I brought my Grandma's stuffing, shrimp and grits, crab cakes (kind of-the drive messed them up :( ), and carrot cake! After eating, we all relaxed. Brad fell asleep and I played with Abby! After everyone had settled down, some of is played an *interesting* game of "Things." Woooooow.
