Baby Showers are so much fun!! I'm not going to lie, I really really don't like being the center of attention for anything (I'm more of a behind the scenes person/planner/host), but we looooved our first baby shower!
Maybe because we got to go HOME for it?!! Yep, that's one big reason. Going home for our first baby shower meant family, baby things, and seeing friends and former co-workers that I haven't seen in almost 2 years. It. was. amazing. and we loved every second of it. There's nothing like leaving the "polar vortex"of negative temperatures that we've been having and soaking up the sunny, 70 degree weather that was down in the good ol' south. Glorious!
My little sister and mom threw us our first baby shower in beautiful Greenville, South Carolina. We had the shower at my sister's new-er house. It was perfect. My little sister out-did herself with the decorations. They were precious!! and she DIY'd almost all of them herself. I was totally blown away. It was fabulous and it made me even more excited for our Lil' Bit to get here! We had a brunch shower, which worked out perfectly. It was so good to see all of my friends and former co-worker-friends. I have missed them so much! We got tons of baby items and tons of adorable little onesies, pacifiers, and hats. Love them all!!
