Isn't he adorable? And sitting up? He's sitting up because he's too long to lay down with his blocks. My baby is four weeks old and has already grown too much. Oh Colton bug, we love you so much. It feels like you've just always been here with us.
Mommy: I'm doing great. Back in the gym and I finally feel back to my normal self. It took me a little while to feel "normal" in the gym, but I feel like I have more strength. Muscle memory is amazing. I still have about 14 pounds to lose.
Nursing/Eating: Colton is eating every two hours. Every now and then it's 1.5 hours, but for the most part he is able to do 2 hours. He is still eating on both sides during a feeding, but every now and then he only eats on one side. We start his 2 hour schedule depending on when he wakes up!
Sleeping: Colton is sleeping anywhere between 5-6 hours at night. He does his longest stretch when I put him to bed around 10 pm and after he has 3-4 am feeding, he sleeps around 3-4 hours. Little man is still sleeping in between most of his feedings during the day. He does take his longest naps in the late morning before "lunch" and after lunch.
Size: Colton has moved into size 1 diapers and 0-3 month clothes.
Development: Little bug is a sweetheart. He is so alert and loves to look around. He is tracking us when we move from side to side. He is working on tummy time, watching his brother play, and holding his head up. Colton loves to be held up on a shoulder so that he can look around.
Temperament: Colton is a happy, content little guy. He gets a little fussy around 5-9 pm, but nothing a little TLC doesn't help. He eats, sleeps, and watches everything that goes on around him.
Likes: Colton loves his swing, watching his brother, his binky, his car seat, riding in the car, chewing on his fingers, snuggling with mama, being worn in the baby carrier, and laying on daddy's chest.
Dislikes: Colton does not like being hungry.
Small Moments: I love watching my little bug sleep. I might check on him constantly to make sure he's breathing, but I love looking at his sweet little face while he's asleep. Whenever we're snuggling, I cannot kiss his little face enough. He sleeps so peacefully. I'll never get enough cuddles.
