DIY Pumpkins!!

Welp, it's that time of year! As we continue into October, I can't help but love baking and decorating for fall!! AND who doesn't love a good 'ole DIY?!? I know I do! I've seen a few really cute painted pumpkins, so I wanted to try my own version this year!

I started with the monogram. I got 1 big pumpkin for our last name initial and 2 smaller pumpkins for our first name initials in our monogram. I free-handed our monogram, so it's not perfect. It took me about an hour to paint all 3 initials. The next day, I worked on the polka-dots and the ribbons. I used cotton balls and white paint to make the polka-dots. This was much easier than trying to paint each dot!! Then I tied the ribbons in a knot, hot glued the knot to the pumpkin, and made the bows! I set them outside and can't wait for Brad to get home to see the finished project on our little porch!! (I wish we were in our new house so they could grace our real porch, but oh well!) So, here they are!
