Brad and I have always tried our best to make God the center of relationship. Our faith defines our marriage and our individual lives. Our faith has always been a strong link between us.
We believe that Jesus came to this earth in the form of a baby, lived a perfect life here on earth, died on the cross to shed His blood for all man's sins, and rose from death to life after lying in the grave for 3 days. Jesus' purpose for coming to this earth was to share His love, grace, and salvation to ALL mankind. Jesus was the living sacrifice to His Father God to pay for the sins of man and the forgiveness of God.When Jesus died on the cross, He gave all of us the opportunity to accept God as our Savior, surrender our lives to Him, and follow Him. Jesus sacrifice saved us from hell, if we can accept His free gift and give our hearts to God.
We do not believe that actions can get you to heaven. We believe that because we are followers of Christ, our actions should reflect Him and His love, grace, and forgiveness. Talk about a tall order? I know I am not perfect, and Brad and I would never claim to be. We are still sinners trying to reflect the love of Jesus through our lives.
Brad and I have both accepted Jesus as our Savior and are born again. We pray that God will shine His light through our lives, so that we may bring others to the light of Jesus. Brad and I have put our faith, trust, and lives in Jesus' hands. He alone is our Savior and the reason we are saved!
Brad and I make a daily effort to pray and learn in God's Word. He has taught us both so much in the past year that we both think praising Him should be a daily part of our lives. Jesus still teaches me every day. Sometimes, my devotions lay heavily on my heart, so I will share them on my blog as a public record of what Gos is doing in my life and in both of our lives.
God is God. God is always good - no matter what!
