Memorial Weekend '15

This Memorial weekend, we took it pretty easy. We went to Kory and Gauge's wedding on Saturday (here), but the rest of the weekend was dedicated to being at home. Sometimes we just get too busy, so we have to build in weekends where we just. stay. home. This was one of them and it was perfect.

It rained most of Sunday, but it is great for our grass so I can't complain! We did our normal Sunday routine (plus a few more things that we missed on Saturday), church, grocery shopping, fIt was delood prep, cleaning, and work on the basement. Dayton takes long afternoon naps, so I can get a ton of stuff done during that time. It's awesome. We made chicken quesadillas (our Sunday night tradition) and after Dayton went to bed, the hubs and I had a movie, at-home date night. Love.

Monday Brad and I were both able to get to the gym in the morning. We did a few things around the house and after Dayton's nap, we headed over to the neighbor's house for a neighborhood BBQ. It was delicious and Dayton had so much fun playing with all of his friends. The hubs got some good guy time and I hung out with my mama friends. I love our neighborhood.

Happy Memorial Day! Thank you to all of our military that served our country and lost their lives. Thank you to all of our military families for their sacrifice. I love this country.
