Living Room Update #2 ~ Curtains & Canvases

Our living room is almost done...well, kind of! We have so many plans to change the furniture and decorate in the living room, but we are trying to do one or two things at a time. That way we can simultaneously be working in the other rooms as well. The first post I wrote about the living room updates can be found here. To start out, we painted, I decorated the mantle (for winter), and hung some black & white wedding pictures above the stairs.

This update includes curtains AND our wedding photo canvases!! *Squeal*!! I was soooo excited when I found a Groupon coupon to get these large canvases for $30 each!! We decided that we wanted 3 large canvases hung above the fireplace quite some time ago (i.e. when we moved in) ~ one engagement photo, one wedding photo, and one Day After photo. So that's exactly what we did. It was so hard to pick just one from each. Our photographers @GetzCreative did such a fantastic job with all 3 sessions! Oh, I just love them!! We actually got them back in February...the day before our Super Bowl party...and I am just now writing this post about the new updates. Busy busy us. Well, here's what they look like!

We are only planning on getting a new entertainment center, new couches, and coffee table and end tables in the future. One step at a time!
