Saturday Mornings

So, we have these friends, the Rosburgs, that live about four houses down from us. They just so happen to also be in our church small group. They're pretty awesome. In May, Alicia and Eric had a baby girl named Livi. She's the sweetest little thing and we've already prearranged Livi and Dayton's marriage. Ha! The Rosburg's are involved with Cross Fit, so we see eye to eye on the whole working out thing. Brad and I had always worked out together, as had Eric and Alicia. Things change a bit when you have a kid and neither of us get to work out with our spouse too often. To solve this problem, we came up with "Baby Swap Saturday." Eric and Alicia drop Livi off over here around 6:45 am on Saturday morning, go work out, pick Livi up, then we drop Dayton off at their house, and then the hubs and I get to go work out together. It works out perfectly and this has become a fairly normal Saturday for us!

Dayton and Livi play great together and we've caught some pretty cute moments between the two of them. Thanks to Baby Swap Saturday, the hubs and I still get to do "our thing" together at least once a week (as do Eric and Alicia) and we don't have to put our babies in the gym daycare. Love it!
