Happy Birthday Matt!

This year was Brad's older brother - Matt's Golden Birthday! He turned 31 on the May 31st! Karen, Matt's wife, schemed a special present for him this year. All of Matt's friends and family sent a video wishing him a happy birthday. Karen secretly put all of the videos together and made a 30 minute video for him! Such a good idea!

Since Matt's birthday was on a Friday and he had to work on Saturday, we all planned to get together to celebrate his birthday on Sunday! Brad and I drove down to the Quad Cities and spent Saturday night with the P-rents. We grilled out for dinner, Abby and I finished a couple of puzzles - including a 100 piece Wizard of Oz puzzle (well 99 pieces), Brad and I went to get Froyo for us and Abby, and then Dad got out the fire pit in the driveway and we enjoyed s'mores and time with family and a few neighbors. It was a pretty good night! Plus, I got to spend some time with my little buddy, my favorite niece - Abby! She's the cutest.

Sunday Beth and Gene arrived and then Matt, Karen, Abby, and baby Jackson came over. We all went to lunch at the Machine Shed. I had never been there before, but it was pretty good! The best part, the waiters/waitresses came out and sang Happy Birthday to Matt!
