Oh Iowa...I was not prepared for your recent frigid temperatures!! This week it dropped down the loooow 40's during the day!! At night, temperatures dropped below freezing. It has been cold enough, that even Brad is not opening the windows at night anymore...thank the stars!! I definitely had a rude awakening this week as to what cold is. Brrrrrr. I'm a southern girl and we belong in the sun! In fact, we belong in the sun all year round. I am one of those people who get the mild "winter depression" because the sun is not out. I'm not joking when I tell Brad..."The sun makes me happy." True statement. It's supposed to warm up this week, so I am keeping my fingers crossed. I am NOT ready for winter...or any type of cold! Warm fall weather come back!!

Oh man, I hate the cold and love the sun, too! Hopefully it will warm back up again soon and we'll have a quick and mild winter!
Girl I know what you mean...there was frost on my windshield this morning, I was not happy about it. I do love all of my fall clothes though, so I guess that's of some consolation! Can't wait to visit Iowa!
